Briggs has played multiple positions throughout his collegiate career, but served as a backup center at Texas Tech last season. It remains to be seen where he will be deployed at Arizona State in 2023.

The bulk of Briggs’ experience came at New Mexico where he was a 2-year starter. He played both guard and tackle at UNM.

Briggs is the 28th transfer to join Arizona State’s program this offseason. He’s also the 5th offensive lineman to transfer to ASU this cycle. The Sun Devils have completely overhauled their roster under first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham.
