Arizona has done well with its official visits this summer, and that trend held true this past weekend.

Sean Brown, a 3-star defensive back from Simi Valley (Calif.), took his third official visit to Tucson over the weekend and announced on Monday that he has committed to the Cats. Brown took officials to Colorado State and Washington State earlier this month, but it’s Arizona that earned his pledge.

Brown is a long, versatile athlete. He’s listed as a safety in the industry-generated 247 Composite, but he’s reportedly headed to Arizona as a corner early on. At 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, Brown has played both at corner and safety in the secondary for Simi Valley as well as receiver.

He totaled 39 tackles with four interceptions as a junior while also adding 13 catches for 292 yards and three touchdowns at receiver. Simply put, he’s a playmaker when the ball is in the air.

The pledge gives Arizona its 15th commitment for the 2023 class and the 11th just in the month of June.
