USC is 1 of 5 teams still in the running for 4-star safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell.

Johnson-Rubell announced his final 5 on Tuesday morning. He’s also still considering Ohio State, Michigan, Texas and TCU.

Johnson-Rubell attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. However, he transferred to IMG from Brewer High School in Texas. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds.

He has become a top target for the Trojans in the class of 2024. He’s currently the No. 118 overall player and the No. 9 safety in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 17 player from the state of Florida.

USC is looking to generate more momentum in the class of 2024 in the coming weeks. The Trojans currently have 3 commitments in their 2024 class. The group ranks No. 54 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Johnson-Rubell is expected to take an official visit to USC in June. He’s also set to visit his other finalists this summer.
