USC added its fourth blue-chip prospect to the 2023 recruiting class on Tuesday.

Quinten Joyner, a 4-star running back from the state of Texas, announced on social media that he has committed to the Trojans. Joyner, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound back from Manor, Texas, chose the Trojans over interest from Oregon, TCU, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Arkansas, among others.

Joyner was in town to visit recently and evidently loved what he saw.

He gives the ‘23 class another talented offensive weapon in a group stuffed full of them already. USC also has commitments from 5-star Los Alamitos (Calif.) quarterback Malachi Nelson, 5-star athlete and Nelson teammate Makai Lemon, and 5-star Bishop Gorman (Nev.) wideout Zachariah Branch. USC’s class currently sits at No. 16 nationally and No. 1 in the Pac-12.

Joyner ranks as the 247th overall prospect in the 247 Composite and the 13th-ranked running back in his class. During his junior season in high school, the multi-sport star ran for 2,492 yards and 31 scores, adding another two touchdowns receiving. A track athlete as well, Joyner boasts a 10.99 100-meter time at the AAU Junior Olympics and competes in the shot put.
