Jalin Conyers, Arizona State tight end, earns rave reviews for performance during spring practice
Jalin Conyers is starting to emerge as a potential difference-maker for Arizona State this season.
Conyers is entering his 3rd year with the Sun Devils and is coming off of a breakout year with over 400 receiving yards. However, he could be preparing to take another step forward in 2023.
According to beat reporters on location, Conyers had a particularly good day on Thursday. Here’s some of that reaction:
Quite possibly the most dominant day of practice we have seen from Arizona State TE Jalin Conyers.
Caught several touchdowns and looked unguardable in the 1v1 segment. The offense ended with 2PT plays and Conyers delivered the dagger.

Jalin Conyers with an amazing one-handed catch over good coverage by Ro…basically palmed the ball. Made it look easy.

Arizona State’s offense was clicking well in the first 11v11 red zone period. Several TD passes to the team’s top receiving threats, including Xavier Guillory and Jalin Conyers. Bryce Pierre secured the final score.

Conyers began his career at Oklahoma before transferring to Arizona State before the 2021 season. Over the past 2 years, he has caught 44 passes for 484 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Conyers is a former 4-star recruit. He was the No. 5 tight end in the country for the class of 2020, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Arizona State will be running a new offense this season with Kenny Dillingham at the helm. It seems increasingly likely Conyers will play a major role for the Sun Devils as they enter the Dillingham era.
Arizona State’s spring game will be played on April 15.
