Washington State lands commitment from speedy 2023 wide receiver
The Cougars have added to their 2023 class with a second wideout commit this month.
Brandon Hills, a 3-star wide receiver from Colorado Springs (Colo.) Vista Ridge, announced his commitment to the Cougars on Tuesday. Hills chose the Cougs over interest from Northern Arizona and the local Colorado schools.

Hills doesn’t have a star rating in the industry-generated 247 Composite, but the in-house evaluators for 247Sports have given him a 3-star rating and named him the No. 11 prospect from the state of Colorado. He ranks as the 209th receiver in the 2023 class.
The 5-foot-8 wideout took an official visit to Pullman over a week ago and could be a shifty slot receiver on The Palouse. He was electric as a junior last fall, recording 69 receptions for 1,069 yards and 13 touchdowns. Hills also had four touchdowns as a return man, two each as a kick-returner and a punt-returner.
He’s a two-sport star for his high school, also showing out on the track. Hills clocked 100-meter times of 10.77, 10.96, 11.00, and 11.04 as a junior. The 10.96 placed sixth at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships in June of 2021. He also placed fourth in the 200 meters (21.96) and won gold in the long jump with a 23-2 (PR is 23-9.75).
