Jaylen Wells, Division II transfer, announces Pac-12 commitment
Jaylen Wells, the Player of the Year in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, has decided on his transfer destination in the Pac-12.
Wells, who also was a Division II All-American, will transfer to Washington State, announced on social media as he described it as “The Next Chapter. Go Cougs.” Wells last season averaged 22.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Wells, is 6-foot-7 and originally from Sacramento, shot 52% from the field, 86% from the free-throw line and totaled 45 steals during the regular season, all marks that were top 5 in the conference.
Wells told 247Sports, “I love the connection I have with the coaching staff and believe I can succeed with them by my side.”
