Washington State basketball earned a commitment from 4-star combo guard Adam Njie Saturday afternoon, winning the Class of 2024 prospect over the likes of Mississippi State, Seton Hall, Miami and Arizona State.

Njie is Washington State’s first Class of 2024 commitment. He hails from Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx and is considered to be a top 10 player out of New York in the 2024 cycle.

Njie stands at 6-2, 175 pounds.

Some recruiting sites rate Njie differently than others. 247Sports rates him a a high 3-star prospect, considered to be the No. 144 player in the nation and the No. 33 overall combo guard avaliable.

Njie thought about reclassifying to the Class of 2023 and playing next season, but decided to stay in the Class of 2024.
