Washington unveils new uniforms for 2023 football season
Washington has big dreams for the 2023 football season. Should Year 2 under coach Kalen DeBoer improve upon the breakthrough 2022 campaign, the Huskies will be lifting some silverware.
And if they do, it’ll be with a slightly updated on-field look. UW unveiled new home and away uniforms for the 2023 season on Wednesday. Updates appear to be tweaks rather than wholesale changes.
Stripes have returned to the pants after UW went with solid colors last fall. The gold pants (more muted than golds past Husky teams have worn) have white and purple striping. The purple pants get a tonal stripe down the side, while the white pants get a two-toned purple stripe pattern.
The numbers also appear to have gotten a minor refresh. Whereas last year’s jerseys had center numbers with different-colored trim around the edges, this year’s numbers will be solid white (on purple) and solid purple (on white).

The Huskies have several different combinations for on-field looks in 2023.
Washington wore purple on gold for its first two games of the season last year. It went monochromatic with a purple-on-purple look for the Michigan State win. From then on it wore purple and gold four times, white and purple once, purple on white once, all-purple twice, and all-white once. It wore all-white alternates for the Cal game.
UW had several other pieces of promotional content to roll out with the uniform update. Those are linked below.
