Husky Stadium will look pretty purple on Saturday when the 11th-ranked Michigan State Spartans (2-0) come to town to battle the Washington Huskies (2-0).

Washington has revealed its gameday uniforms for Saturday’s matchup with Michigan State. It’ll be an all-purple look with the standard gold helmets.

This Saturday’s game will mark only the fourth-ever meeting between UW and Michigan State game and the first since 1997. Washington leads the all-time series 2-1.

UW is looking for its first regular-season win over a ranked opponent since beating USC back in 2019.

“It would be huge, no question,” coach Kalen DeBoer said. “With where we’re at in the process of coming back and building, I like where we’re at after two games. But this is a different animal. We’re talking about a top-ranked team. So it would mean a lot to us, there’s no doubt about it.”

Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
