Washington got fans fired up for Friday night’s Pac-12 Championship Game with a hype video on social media this week.

The video features interviews from players who returned after last season talking about how they came back to win a Pac-12 Championship and a national championship.

They have a chance to achieve the first goal on Friday, and a win would likely guarantee their spot in the College Football Playoff.

The video shows some of the best moments of the season, including last week’s win in the Apple Cup. It also features former head coach Chris Petersen, who led the Huskies to their only CFP appearance back in 2016. Petersen gives the Huskies some motivation to win the Pac-12 Championship.

“Husky Nation, now is the time to go out and win (conference championship) No. 18,” Petersen said. “The really awesome thing about this is, it’s really about the brotherhood that was established long before any of us go here and will continue on after those of us that leave this place.”

Petersen also reminded the team that it has the chance to do something no other Washington team has done.

“There’s very few teams in the country that can go from great to elite,” Petersen said. “There have been 2 teams that have been 12-0, but nobody’s been 13-0. And what a legacy that would be to leave this place.”

The Pac-12 Championship game kicks off at 5 p.m. PT on ABC.
