Washington has enjoyed a sound season to this point. The team opened with an undefeated record and heads into Pac-12 competition for the first time of the year as things start to get a bit tougher on the schedule.

It’s expected to be a “so far, so good” type of scenario when all is said and done in Week 4, though, as Circa Sports has Washington opening as a 22-point favorite over the California Golden Bears.

Given the type of success Washington has had and the ceiling for what could be one of the best seasons the Huskies have had over recent years, this makes plenty of sense.

Couple that with the fact quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is expected to be an early-round draft pick by some and is considered a potential Heisman Trophy candidate by the same crowd, and it becomes even more reasonable.

Washington heads into this one coming off of a 41-7 win over the Michigan State Spartans, while the Golden Bears most recently recorded a 31-17 win over Idaho.

The two teams are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday at Husky Stadium.
