Washington might be on the road in Week 9, but the Huskies are still highly favored.

Washington is the only remaining undefeated team in the Pac-12 and the gap between the Huskies and USC has grown a little larger. The Trojans’ problems with Utah continued as the Utes beat Lincoln Riley 34-32 by way of a late field goal in Week 8.

Circa Sports didn’t seem to take Stanford’s overtime win over Colorado into consideration when making the opening lines. Washington opened as a 24-point favorite for the game in Stanford Stadium. The over/under for the game has been set at 61.5.

Michael Penix Jr. had one of his worst games of the season on Saturday following the exciting win over Oregon in the previous game. Penix finished the Arizona State game with 275 yards passing and 2 interceptions.

Despite Penix struggling, a late pick-6 return from Mishael Powell secured the 15-7 win. Penix has been very consistent this season and the Stanford game may not be very different.

The Cardinal couldn’t follow up the thrilling overtime victory over Colorado with a win in Week 8. Stanford lost to UCLA 42-7.

Washington is in a position to compete for its first Pac-12 title since 2018. A win would mean that the Huskies would move on to 8-0.

Kickoff will be at 4 p.m. PT on FS1.
