Washington named finalist for 4-star in-state forward

Washington basketball made the Top 4 for an in-state product on Saturday.

Cofie is a 4-star power forward from the 2024 class out of Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic. The industry-generated 247 Composite ranks Cofie as the No. 16 power forward and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Washington. Cofie also holds offers from Pac-12 programs like Oregon, Colorado, Washington State, and Utah.

Other finalists for Cofie include USC, Virginia, and Ohio State. He brings a lot of size to the table coming in at 6-foot-9, 225 pounds.

Washington has no known verbal commitments in the 2024 cycle at this time.

The Huskies are coming off of a season where they finished the year at 16-16. The 2022 campaign ended for Washington after losing to Colorado in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
