Washington lands commitment from coveted 4-star offensive lineman
Washington added a major piece to its 2024 recruiting class on Monday.
Hesperia (Calif.) Oak Hills offensive lineman Paki Finau announced his commitment to UW on social media. Finau had a top seven that included Utah, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, and Penn State alongside the Huskies. He has official visits scheduled to Arizona, Utah, Penn State, and UW throughout the month of June.
But coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff won out before ever needing to host an official.

A 6-foot-4, 265-pound lineman, Finau is rated as a 4-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s ranked as the No. 22 recruit from the state of California and the No. 17 interior offensive lineman in the class. Overall, the Composite has Finau ranked as the No. 267 recruit in the country.
Finau told 247Sports’ Greg Biggins he was “ready for my recruitment to be over.”
He is the third known commitment to Washington’s 2024 recruiting class, joining quarterback EJ Caminong and athlete Landon Bell.
