Washington will have wide receiver Giles Jackson and safety Asa Turner available Saturday against Oregon, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Jackson was a key piece of the receiver rotation last season for the Huskies, but he has yet to play this season. A thumb injury suffered in training camp put Jackson’s season at risk and UW initially thought he could save the year as a redshirt.

His return means the UW wideout rotation will be at full strength for the first time in a while. UW expects Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan to play. McMillan hasn’t seen the field since the first half of the Michigan State game.

Against the top-ranked pass defense in college football, UW needs all hands on deck against the Ducks.

That’s true in the secondary as well. Oregon has a top-three scoring offense this season and Turner’s return is a huge deal. A starter next to Dom Hampton, Turner has been out since Week 3. In his absence, Kamren Fabiculanan and Vincent Nunley have filled in and done so admirably. Fabiculanan has two picks and a pass breakup so far this year.

Kickoff between the seventh-ranked Huskies and the eighth-ranked Ducks is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
