Washington will begin the 2023 season in front of a national TV audience, but its Week 2 and Week 3 matchups will shift to much smaller audiences.

Kickoff times and TV designations for the first three weeks of UW’s upcoming football season were released on Wednesday.

The season opener against Boise State on Sept. 2 is getting one of the best slots of the weekend — the 12:30 p.m. PT window on ABC. After an 11-win campaign in Kalen DeBoer’s debut season, it seems Washington is a team the power brokers in college football are anxious to see.

In Week 2, Washington welcomes Tulsa to Husky Stadium for a 2 p.m. PT kick on the Pac-12 Network.

The highly-anticipated rematch with Michigan State is going to air exclusively on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock. The network’s deal with the Big Ten calls for several games to be streamed exclusively on Peacock, and UW’s trip to East Lansing will be one of them. That game will kick off at 2 p.m. PT.

The remainder of the season’s kickoff times and TV will be announced during the season in the standard 6-to-12-day window.
