This game was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was pushed to Friday afternoon due to inclement weather in Oklahoma City.
The win means the Huskies will now have the rest of the day off to prepare for a meeting with Florida State on Saturday in the next round. Utah, on the other hand, will face Oklahoma State in an elimination game later this evening.
First pitch of Washington’s second-round matchup with Florida State is set for 4 p.m. PT on Saturday.
