Washington baseball reacts to rankings snub after series win over UCLA
The Washington baseball team is feeling snubbed.
Monday is rankings day in the college baseball world. This weekend, the Huskies improved to 16-6 in 2023 by taking 2-of-3 games over No. 7 UCLA in Los Angeles.
The winning record and series win over a top-10 team, however, wasn’t enough to get Washington ranked. The team’s official Twitter called out D1Baseball, Baseball America, Perfect Game and USA TODAY over being left out of their publications’ polls.

The Huskies are at home for the next 4 games. Washington hosts Portland on Tuesday night, then it’s back to Pac-12 play. Oregon State is the next weekend series on deck. Washington and OSU will play a Friday-Sunday series.
The Huskies are 4-2 so far in conference play with series wins over Utah and UCLA. We’ll see if another strong week for Washington gets the Huskies into the polls.
