Kirk Herbstreit named Washington as his top-performing team of Week 10.

Herbstreit shared his list of top 7 teams on Monday evening. The Huskies landed the No. 1 spot, beating out Alabama and Oklahoma State for that honor. Clemson, Texas, Georgia and Army also made Herbstreit’s list.

Washington defeated USC 52-42 on Saturday, handing the Trojans their third loss overall and second Pac-12 defeat of the season. That result puts Washington in great shape as it continues to fight for a Pac-12 Championship Game berth.

Washington could leapfrog Florida State in the College Football Playoff rankings this week. The Huskies were at No. 5 last week prior to their win over USC. Meanwhile, Florida State struggled in the first half vs. Pitt and ended up winning by the score of 24-7 on Saturday.

Washington enters Week 11 with a 9-0 record overall and a 6-0 mark in conference play. The Huskies still have games remaining vs. Utah, Oregon State and Washington State.

Kickoff vs. the Utes is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on Saturday.
