Kevin King, former Washington CB, to miss 2023 season after suffering workout injury
Kevin King, a former Washington CB and 2nd Round draft pick, will have to wait a bit longer to hit the playing field.
King, who missed last season after going unsigned, tore his Achilles Friday while working out and is now expected to miss the entirety of the 2023 season. He’s likely to remain a free agent until 2024 as a result.
The 5-year veteran has played all his NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers, who selected him 33rd overall in 2017.
Update: Former #Packers 2nd round pick, CB Kevin King, tore his Achilles while working out, meaning he’ll likely miss the 2023 season.
King just turned 28-years old and went unsigned last season. He’ll now likely remain a free-agent until at least the 2024 season.
