ESPN’s College GameDay crew seems to always shutter a bit when the entire panel is unanimous with its picks in any given game. “Save the graphic,” Kirk Herbstreit will say. There’s a worry that when they all pick the same team to win, they’ll turn into the butt of a joke on social media if that team loses.

That concern was pretty nonexistent on Saturday when picking No. 8 Washington’s Week 3 matchup with Michigan State.

Here’s how the panel picked:

  • Desmond Howard: Washington
  • Pat McAfee: Washington
  • Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (guest picker): Washington
  • Lee Corso: Washington
  • Kirk Herbstreit: Washington

“I think it’s a real good week for Washington to be able to prove (themselves),” Herbstreit said. “This is a team that won (11) last year. All they’ve heard about are all the distractions for Michigan State. It’d be easy to just show up, go through the motions, and fight for your life to get out of there with a win. I don’t think so. I think Kalen DeBoer will have them ready. Penix has a monster game. Washington wins big.”

The Huskies (2-0) are favored by two scores in the game.

Michigan State has also opened its season unbeaten, but UW will be, by far, the stiffest test yet for the Spartans.

Kickoff is at 2 p.m. PT on Peacock.
