The Utah Utes are back.

That much they definitely want to be known as they recently dropped their latest hype video ahead of the 2023 season. Here’s a look at that:

The team, with star quarterback Cameron Rising at the helm, finished out the 2022 season with a 10-4 overall record (7-2 PAC-12), sending waves across the nation and demanding recognition as a college football team that is not usually widely talked about in the preseason.

Rising finished out the 2022 season with a 64.7% completion rate, 3,034 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 8 interceptions on 385 passing attempts. Over the course of his past 3 seasons at the helm of the Utes offense, the veteran Rising has tossed for a completion rate of 64.1%, 5,572 passing yards, 46 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

With a quarterback class that could see a lot of shift in the rankings during the season between consensus top signal-caller Caleb Williams and No. 2 Drake Maye, there’s a chance for Rising to continue rising up the draft boards in a big way.

This year, the Utes will look to run it back and build upon the immense success they had last season. That all starts in less than one day as Utah takes on the Florida Gators at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday.
