In the first half of Utah’s game against Colorado, the Utes were in full command.

Utah took a 42-0 lead into the locker room after holding the Buffs to a total of 18 yards in the game’s first 30 minutes. Utah scored touchdowns on six of its eight possessions. None were more electric than a 41-yard catch and run for a score from tight end Thomas Yassmin, who hurdled a Colorado defender in the process.

Yassmin made the most of his only first-half catch. The pass game spread the ball around a week after an uncharacteristically poor showing. Quarterback Cameron Rising completed 17 of his 19 passes for 234 yards and three scores. Nine different Utah players had a catch.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid led the way with five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown in the first half alone.

Utah outgained CU 379-18 and allowed just one first down in the half.
