On Twitter, “WHAT A HIT” was trending. It was all the same tweet, same video, sent from dozens of different accounts.

Utah quarterback Cameron Rising got rocked in the third quarter by Ralen Goforth. He escaped on a scramble to his right, evaded a pair of would-be tacklers, and then got his helmet popped off as Goforth met him just before the sticks on third-and-3.

The slow-mo sideline angle is even more violent:

Maybe the most impressive part of the entire play is the fact that Rising immediately popped back up. Like, immediately. And he did so with a smile on his face.

Rising engineered 354 yards of offense for Utah in the first three quarters of the Pac-12 title game, leading the 11th-ranked Utes into the fourth quarter with a 24-17 advantage over the fourth-ranked USC Trojans. He completed 20 of his first 32 pass attempts for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

Utah is seeking its second consecutive Pac-12 championship.
