When Cameron Rising takes off on the run with a head of steam, it’s something to behold.

The Utah quarterback got loose to close out the third quarter Saturday night against the Florida Gators. A quarterback keeper fooled the defense as everyone crashed down hard on the running back. Rising pulled the ball and took off down the left side for 26 yards. He caught a key block from receiver Solomon Enis, and then stiff-armed Florida safety Trey Dean into the turf.

The run set up No. 7 Utah running back Micah Bernard to knife through the middle of the Florida defense on the very next play for a 7-yard touchdown to put the Utes on top of the Gators.

Utah went for two, but it failed to convert.

It took a 19-14 lead into the fourth quarter. The Utes are trying to be the first team since 1989 to beat Florida in its home opener. The action is taking place on ESPN.
