In pay games like the one Utah played Saturday against Southern Utah, players who don’t normally see the field get a chance to shine.

The Utes got 35 offensive players onto the field and 27 defensive players. After exploding for 38 points in the second quarter, the starters had quick hooks. Quarterback Cameron Rising played 45 snaps and finished as the highest-graded offensive player in the game, according to Pro Football Focus. He was the second-highest-graded quarterback in the Pac-12.

On the other side of the ball, linebacker Hayden Furey was the highest-graded defender to see the field for the Utes. He earned a 91.2 grade for his nine snaps, a highly productive day as he finished with a pass breakup and a tackle for loss.

Throughout the season, we’ll keep track of snap counts and game grades for everyone from the folks at PFF. You’ll find them below.
