Utah unveils uniform combination for Pac-12 opener vs. UCLA
Utah is rocking with the look many hope becomes a permanent home combo for its Week 4 showdown with No. 22 UCLA.
The 11th-ranked Utes are bringing out the interlocking U logo for the Pac-12 opener. They’ll wear white pants, red tops, and a white helmet. Linebacker Lander Barton modeled this week’s look.

Utah started wearing this particular throwback combo in 2015. In the seven games it has used the combo since, it has lost only one time. (Shout out to user NoContextUtes on Twitter for that nugget.)
It’s arguably the best look Utah has in the rotation. Which means it’s a fitting look to open Pac-12 play with. The Utes officially open their title defense on Saturday against the Bruins.
The game could mark the season debut of quarterback Cameron Rising, but his availability is still yet to be made public. Rising has missed the first three games of the season — all wins — while he makes his way back from offseason ACL surgery.
Utah has managed without him and a number of other key contributors throughout the lineup, but it is hopeful to have its leader back on the field this weekend.
Rising has led the program to back-to-back Pac-12 championships. In Utah’s final season in the league, it wants an unprecedented three-peat.
That quest begins against UCLA. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on FOX.
