Utah hosted Las Vegas (Nev.) Academy receiver David Washington on an official visit early in June. The blue-chip wideout has long been a target for the Utes’ coaching staff in the 2024 cycle.

He’s set to reveal his college commitment soon.

Washington will announce his decision on Monday, July 10. He’ll choose between Utah, Oregon State, UCLA, and Cal. All four of his finalists hosted him on official visits, with the last stop being Berkeley on June 23.

Washington is a 6-foot, 185-pound wideout. In the industry-generated 247 Compsite, he’s rated as a 3-star recruit and the No. 65 receiver in the class.

The evaluators from 247Sports are a little higher on him than consensus, though. In the 247 national ranking, he’s a 4-star recruit and the No. 46 receiver in the class.

As a junior last fall, Washington brought in 52 receptions for 826 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. He also handled the ball out of the backfield several times and tacked on a rushing score. Washington averaged 19.7 yards per catch as a sophomore.

Utah is always looking for dynamic receivers, and Washington certainly fits that billing. You can see his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
