Utah will wear its candy apple red helmets with an all-white uniform this week.

The 22nd-ranked Utes head to Tucson to tangle with the 17th-ranked Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. A victory would make it five consecutive full seasons with at least eight wins for coach Kyle Whittingham’s group.

Utah revealed its Week 12 look on social media Thursday. The design is simple. White pants, white jerseys, red helmets.

Utah (7-3, 4-3 Pac-12) is looking to bounce back after a 35-28 loss to Washington in Seattle last weekend. The Utes were strong in the first half and then blanked in the second half.

Coming off a loss this season, Utah has been dynamic.

A 21-7 loss to Oregon State was followed up by a 34-14 win over Cal. Of course, there was a bye week in between, but the offense that looked listless against the Beavers caught fire against the Bears and topped 300 yards on the ground.

Following a 35-6 home loss to Oregon, Utah came out a week later and dusted Arizona State 55-3. The ground game produced 352 yards and quarterback Bryson Barnes threw a career-best four touchdowns.

Arizona will provide a stiffer test than either Cal or ASU did, though. Tucson has become a problematic place to play for visitors. The last three home games for the UA saw the Wildcats almost knock off Washington and then upset Oregon State and UCLA in back-to-back weeks. Arizona beat Colorado last Saturday to win its fourth straight.

Kickoff between the Utes and Wildcats is set for 11:30 a.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
