Utah will open Pac-12 play at home as a favorite.

The 11th-ranked Utes and the 22nd-ranked UCLA Bruins face each other on Saturday in Utes territory in what’s sure to be one of the more entertaining matchups across college football given where both teams stand nationally.

As where each team is placed in the AP Top 25 would imply, the Utes come into this one as the favorite. Circa Sports recently released its opening lines for a host of different games happening in Week 4, listing Utah as a 7-point favorite over UCLA.

The Utes are currently undefeated, coming off a 31-7 win over Weber State during the weekend. The Bruins enter the contest just as cleanly, also with a 3-0 record, most recently recording a 59-7 win over NC Central. The team caught no shortage of attention when it opened the season with a 27-13 victory over standout quarterback Grayson McCall and the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out in what should be a close game but also one that could truly go either way.

Utah and UCLA kick off at 12:30 p.m. PT on Saturday in Rice-Eccles Stadium.
