Utah will miss out on another Pac-12 title this season after back-to-back losses, but the Utes are still building for the future on the recruiting trail. On Tuesday, Kyle Whittingham’s program picked up another key piece for the 2024 recruiting class.

The player is Zacharyus Williams, a 3-star wide receiver out of Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California. Arizona, UCLA, Washington and Washington State were some of the other Pac-12 programs with offers to Williams at the time of his commitment.

Williams is listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds for the 2024 recruiting class. The 247 Sports Composite rates Williams as a 3-star recruit and the 104th WR prospect in the country for the cycle.

Prior to Williams’ commitment, Utah held the 75th recruiting class in the country per the composite rankings. There is certainly some work to be done after the Utes landed the No. 20 recruiting class for the 2023 cycle.
