Utah drops Week 8 threads for road game vs. USC
Utah is hitting the road for Week 8, one week after a nice bounce-back win over Cal. Now, the Utes travel to face a reeling USC squad that was boat-raced by Notre Dame in Week 7.
Despite an early loss to Oregon State, Utah is now 5-1 overall and continues to find a way in spite of a banged-up roster. Meanwhile, the Trojans are still a perfect 4-0 in Pac-12 play and lead the conference entering the matchup.
On Thursday, the Utes dropped the weekly uniform combination, and the program is going with an icy all-white look against the Trojans. The white helmets feature the interlocking U logo with white jerseys and pants that include red accents throughout.

As for the head-to-head series, Utah is riding a 3-game winning streak since the start of the 2021 season, the longest against USC in program history. Utah won a 43-42 regular-season thriller in Salt Lake City last season before pulling away from the Trojans in a Pac-12 title game win.
Overall, USC still leads the series 13-9 but is searching for the first win since 2020. As for USC star Caleb Williams, he was limited to 3 touchdowns and an interception in the league’s championship game but delivered 381 yards and 5 touchdowns in the regular-season matchup.
