Utah drills walk-off field goal to win fourth straight over USC
Utah won a thriller against USC Saturday night on a walk-off field goal from Cole Becker.
After USC took the lead behind a 61-yard punt return from Zachariah Branch followed by a rushing touchdown from Caleb Williams, the Utes had one last possession to try and win it.
Utah got the ball past midfield, and from there managed to get into field goal range on a huge 26-yard run from Bryson Barnes. The Utes used one more play to get the ball into the middle of the field, and then Becker’s kick was perfect.

The win is the fourth straight for the Utes over USC dating back to 2021. Last year, Utah beat USC in the regular season and the Pac-12 Championship.
The win for Utah keeps the Utes alive in the playoff race after the loss to Oregon State a few weeks ago. Next week, they’ll face Oregon in what will be a season-defining game.
