Utah picked up a new commitment for its 2024 recruiting class on Saturday. The Utes beat out a pair of conference rivals to land an ATH prospect out of California.

Lamar Radcliffe has verbally pledged to play for Kyle Whittingham’s program. Radcliffe took to social media to share the big news.

A Sacramento (California) standout, Radcliffe is listed as measuring 6-2, 225 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Radcliffe is rated 3-stars, the No. 44 recruit in the state of California, No. 52 ATH prospect and No. 571 player overall in the Class of 2024.

ATH is used to multi-position prospects. Radcliffe’s future at Utah appears to be in the backfield. He was recruited by Utes running backs coach Quinton Ganther.

During his recruitment, Radcliffe collected scholarship offers from 10 programs. Heading into Saturday’s decision, Radcliffe named a final 3 of Utah, Oregon and USC.

Radcliffe’s most recent highlights (below) are from his sophomore season because he missed his junior year due to injury.
