Former Utah RB Zack Moss to miss time with broken arm
Former Utah standout Zack Moss is expected to miss the remainder of training camp. The Indianapolis Colts running back broke his arm on Monday.
Moss is expected to be sidelined for 6 weeks. If that’s the case, he’s likely cleared to return right around the Sept. 10 season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
There’s never a good time for an injury, but the timing is especially unfortunate for Moss and the Colts. Moss had an opportunity to step up as Colts standout RB Jonathan Taylor has requested a trade and is currently not participating.
Moss was selected No. 86 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He was traded to the Colts during the 2022 season.
After the trade, Moss played in 8 games for the Colts, making 3 starts. He rushed 76 times for 365 yards and 1 touchdown.
