ESPN’s College GameDay will be live from Utah’s campus on Saturday for the first time since 2016.

The traveling pregame show will feature the Utes ahead of a top-15 showdown with the Oregon Ducks. On The Pat McAfee Show Friday afternoon, former Utah receiver Steve Smith Sr. joined the show and it was revealed that he’ll serve as the celebrity guest picker on Saturday’s show.

During his time at Utah, Smith totaled 78 receptions for 1,608 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also served as an electrifying return man — 1,365 return yards and 4 touchdowns. Smith went on to have an outstanding NFL career that featured two All-Pro selections and five Pro Bowl nominations.

At the time of his retirement in January 2017, Smith ranked seventh all-time in NFL career all-purpose yards (19,180), seventh in career receiving yards (14,731), and twelfth in career receptions (1,031).

GameDay will be live from Presidents Circle on the University of Utah’s campus from 6-9 a.m. PT on ESPN this Saturday. The 13th-ranked Utes (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) host the eighth-ranked Ducks (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) at 12:30 p.m. PT on FOX.
