Zachariah Branch does it again; USC freshman takes punt 75 yards to house
Zachariah Branch has firmly entered “don’t kick the football to him” territory.
To be completely fair, he was probably already there before Saturday night. But Stanford decided to punt him the ball in the second quarter of Saturday night’s matchup at the Coliseum, already trailing 21-0, and paid the price.
Branch took it 75 yards to the house for the touchdown.
THAT'S A BAAAADDD MANN ‼️

Branch had 58 receiving yards, 96 kick return yards, 66 punt return yards, and two total touchdowns in his first career game for USC in the Week 0 opener.
A week later, he had a 22-yard touchdown catch.
Now, he has his fourth career touchdown in his third career game.
USC has a special one. Branch was a top-10 recruit in the 2023 class and USC knew right away it needed to have him involved in the offense from Day 1. Even in a stacked receiver room, Branch has carved out a role for himself.
Folks have cautiously whispered Reggie Bush’s name. Others have compared him to former Florida All-American Percy Harvin. Those are two massive compliments.
Branch has been unbelievable to begin his career.
