Zachariah Branch started the scoring for USC against Nevada on Saturday. The Trojans marched down the field and scored in just four plays.

Caleb Williams threw a nice ball to Branch, who just had to make the catch for a 22-yard touchdown.

Branch is already making impressive plays as a freshman. Branch is coming off of a rare feat in his debut in Week 0. He became the first USC player since Adoree Jackson to score a receiving and return TD in the same game.

In the win over San Jose State, Branch recorded four catches for 58 yards and a touchdown, one rushing attempt for 12 yards, three punt returns for 66 yards, and one kick return for 96 yards and a touchdown — a total of 232 all-purpose yards

Branch was the No. 4 overall player and No. 1 WR in the 2023 class, per the 247 Composite.

It’ll be interesting to see how long Branch can keep this run of form up.
