USC’s 2022 spring game was a success. Entertaining, broadcast by ESPN to the masses, completed without any hiccups or injury, and a culmination of an entire spring period marked by growth; it was a productive day for the Trojans.

Head coach Lincoln Riley seemed pleased with the work his group got done this spring, and he said after Saturday’s game that the spring game was representative of that work. There was good back and forth, with the offense moving the ball well to start the game and the defense responding with some fortitude in the second half.

Quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Miller Moss each had some highlight throws. Defensive end Tuli Tuipulotu looked strong on the other side. USC showcased its remade skill position talent. We even had a targeting penalty called!

There was plenty to talk about after the game.
