USC will play exclusively on Saturdays during the upcoming football season.

When the Pac-12’s 2023 football schedule was released earlier this month, the Trojans’ matchup with Arizona wasn’t settled. It was tentatively set for either Friday or Saturday, Oct. 7. USC announced this week that it’ll be a Saturday kick.

The Arizona game marks the midpoint of USC’s season. After that game, Notre Dame, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and UCLA are all on the schedule to close out the year.

And the Wildcats gave the Trojans a bit of a game during the 2022 campaign. USC held just a two-point lead going into the fourth quarter in Tucson and went on to win 45-37. The 2023 game could be a sneaky spot on the Trojans’ schedule.

It’ll also be a reunion of sorts for wideout Dorian Singer, who left Arizona this offseason and joined USC.
