USC to be without starting linebacker against Washington State
USC will be without starting inside linebacker Shane Lee on Saturday when it hosts Washington State.
According to multiple reports from the field, Lee was not warming up with the team pregame and had his left hand in a cast. Expect Ralen Goforth to draw the start in his place. Raesjon Davis could also see the field.

Lee has 35 tackles so far this season and has started every game. He’s second on the team, only behind Eric Gentry, and has been rock solid as a run defender.
Against Washington State, though, it might not be the worst thing to get a little more speed on the field. Perhaps the Trojans play a bit more dime defense to counteract the spread-it-out attack from the Cougars. Washington State runs a modified version of the Air Raid, and it doesn’t rely too much on the run game. They attempt the fewest runs on a per-game basis of any team in the Pac-12.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT on FOX.
