USC cornerback Domani Jackson will not be available for the Trojans’ secondary on Saturday vs. Arizona, according to a report.

That’s per On3’s Matt Zenitz, who was first to share that news on Friday evening. Zenitz’s report does not include any details about Jackson’s injury.

Zenitz’s report does note that USC is expected to get back starting safety Max Williams on Saturday night. Williams missed the Colorado game due to an injury as well.

Jackson is a significant loss for the Trojans at cornerback. He has 12 tackles and 3 pass deflections so far this season. USC’s secondary has struggled to start the year and is coming off of a disappointing showing vs. Colorado in Week 5.

Last week, USC’s defense nearly squandered a 41-14 lead against the Buffs. The Trojans allowed Colorado to throw for 371 yards and average 6.3 yards per play overall in the 48-41 victory.

USC’s defense will face a tough test this week against the Wildcats. Arizona’s offense is averaging 6.58 yards per play so far this season, which ranks 31st nationally. That make Arizona the most efficient offense USC has faced all season to this point.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday night.
