USC gets to call this year’s McDonald’s All-American Game a showcase for what the future of Trojan basketball will look like.

The rosters for the 46th annual All-American Game were unveiled Tuesday on ESPN’s NBA Today. The 12-man West squad — which features three future Pac-12 players — is headlined by 5-star USC signee Isaiah Collier.

The 6-foot-3 point guard from Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler is regarded as the best prospect in the 2023 class, according to the industry-generated 247 Composite. At his signing, Collier became the highest-rated recruit to join the Trojans in the recruiting service era. He picked USC from a group of finalists that also included UCLA, Michigan, and Cincinnati.

Bronny James — LeBron James’ son — was also selected to play in the game.

It was recently reported that USC is currently one of Bronny James’ top three schools. Perhaps Collier will have some peer recruiting to do when the teams arrive in Houston.

The game takes place on March 28 at the Toyota Center in Houston.
