USC releases Week 0 game trailer for season opener vs. San Jose State
USC starts the second season of the Lincoln Riley era on Saturday as it welcomes San Jose State to the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Of course, there are plenty of storylines surrounding the Trojans, not including Caleb Williams’s quest to become just the second repeat Heisman Trophy winner. In 2022, they saw their College Football Playoff hopes spoiled by Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game before falling to Tulane in the Cotton Bowl Classic. On top of that, it’s USC’s final season in the Pac-12 as it heads to the Big Ten beginning in 2024.
The Trojans will be faced with high expectations as they look to turn the page on the 2022 season. On Saturday, they released their game trailer for their Week 0 contest against the Spartans, which you can watch below:
Kickoff between the Trojans and Spartans is set for 5 p.m. PT and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. USC is 5-0 against San Jose State, with their last meeting coming in 2021 (a 30-7 Trojans win).
