USC had one of its most embarrassing performances in recent history when quarterback Caleb Williams threw 3 interceptions against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a 48-20 loss.

That was followed by a 34-32 loss to the Utah Utes in which head coach Lincoln Riley decided to make all of his players unavailable to the media, with only he himself speaking to reporters.

Some are calling the Trojans overrated at this point, a claim that may be even more substantiated depending on how they do going down the final stretch of the season. But the team is not expected to falter as it faces the California Golden Bears.

Circa Sports has the Trojans opening as a 10-point favorite over Cal heading into the matchup. Here’s a look into the opening lines for every team taking the field in Week 9, per Circa Sports:

Cal has had some time to rest and make adjustments as the Golden Bears head into this one coming off of an open date. The last week that Cal was in action, the team fell 34-14 to the Utes, the same opponent USC faced on Saturday.

The Golden Bears and the Trojans are set to kick off at 1 p.m. PT on Saturday in California Memorial Stadium.
