The Trojans are a near-two-touchdown favorite in their first conference game of the season.

Circa Sports released early betting odds for the upcoming week of college football action on Sunday, and the sportsbook has No. 14 USC (1-0) as a 12-point favorite over the Stanford Cardinal. USC plays Stanford in Palo Alto next Saturday.

Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Cal opens as a 13-point favorite at home against UNLV. Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Washington State all opened as underdogs in their Week 2 matchups.

The Beavers (1-0) are a one-point road dog against Fresno State. Those two meet on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. PT. Oregon State is coming off a 34-17 win over Boise State. Arizona (1-0) opens as a touchdown underdog at home. It’ll host Mississippi State at 8 p.m. PT.

The Trojans are coming off a resounding 66-14 win over Rice to open the Lincoln Riley era. Quarterback Caleb Williams was nearly perfect on the day, throwing for 249 yards and two scores while missing on just three of his 22 pass attempts. The USC defense turned Rice over four times, all of them interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns.

Stanford will pose an early test for Riley’s Trojans. The Cardinal (1-0) are coming off a 41-10 win over Colgate in which quarterback Tanner McKee looked impressive.

Kickoff in that game is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
