Fegans is out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. The 6-1, 180-pound defensive back is being recruited by teams close to home. National recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong says USC could still sign Fegans, but the highly-touted prospect is showing increased interest in Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and LSU.

Getting Fegans back in the fold would be significant for Riley and his staff. Fegans is rated 4-stars, the No. 3 safety, No. 5 recruit in the state of Alabama and No. 31 prospect overall in the Class of 2025 on the 247Sports Composite.
Though he’s no longer a USC pledge, Fegans figures to be following the Trojans closely this season. Tre’Quon Fegans, Anquon’s older brother, transferred to play for USC after beginning his career at Alabama.
