USC’s future got a bit brighter on Sunday afternoon.

The Trojans picked up a commitment from 5-star defensive back Anquon Fegans. He’s the younger brother of Alabama transfer Tre’Quon Fegans, who also committed to USC on Sunday.

Here is Anquon’s announcement:

Fegans is a major addition to USC’s 2025 recruiting class. He’s the No. 21 overall player and the No. 3 safety in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Alabama.

He attends Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds.

Fegans is USC’s first pledge in the class of 2025. He chose the Trojans over offers from programs like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State and LSU, amongst others. He also visited Tennessee last month.

His older brother, Tre’Quon, still has 4 years of eligibility remaining. It’s possible the two brothers will share the field at some point during their collegiate careers.

Here are some highlights from Fegans’ sophomore season of high school:
