Brandon Gardner has found a home on the West Coast. The 4-star power forward originally from the south is one of the top prospects in the state of New York. He’ll play college basketball at USC.

Gardner announced his commitment to the Trojans on Friday via his Twitter account.

Gardner picked up 22 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He was pledged to St. John’s but reopened his recruitment after the program’s coaching change. Andy Enfield’s staff won him over.

“Ultimately, I chose USC because I wanted a place I can play, expand my game, and grow as a player,” Gardner told Joe Tipton of On3. “With the high level staff and their attention to detail, I’m sure to maximize my talent and with work, achieve my ultimate goal to play at the next level.”

Gardner is listed at 6-7, 210 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite he is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 New York product, No. 21 power forward and No. 91 prospect overall nationally in the 2023 class.
